I don't want to get into details. It is all ridiculous and it was a part time job that I hated anyway. The quick details: Samantha Mathis walked in. My brain. Thoughts:
I was a sad, lonely and depressed teenager when this movie came out. It was the worst performing movie of 1993 and I thought it was awesome. One of my favorite movies of all time. Seriously.
I think I oddly related to Miranda Presley (Samantha Mathis, the woman who got me fired), even though I'm not a country song writer.
But if I were, I would write silly stuff like this (skip to 2:18):
This movie is where my love for Dermot Mulroney began. Even though the video below is of River Phoenix mostly (a song he wrote and sang, BTW), Dermot is playing the cello.
Before you think, "He's just acting.":
He really plays! Hot.
More thoughts:
Samantha was dating River while filming this movie (his last). She actually went with him to the Viper Room the night he died.
The funny thing is, even after everything that happened, I feel sorry for Samantha Mathis. She chose to do this:
